If you are reading this, you have been invited to the second [FRATS AND JOCKS PARTY]

On September 9, 2022, the inaugural Frats & Jocks Party brought together high school fraternity members and Heights sports teammates at The Winking Lizard Party Center. The event was a tremendous success, with nearly 150 attendees spanning the 1960s, ’70s, and ’80s. Building on that momentum, we’re excited to announce the second Frats & Jocks Party, scheduled for September 5, 2025.

This year’s gathering will take place on a beautiful 20-acre farm located just two miles from Barrington Country Club in Aurora, Ohio. The upgraded venue offers an ideal setting for a celebration with plenty of space and freedom to enjoy the evening without restrictions. Highlights include a large, renovated building with a spacious patio as the event’s hub. Adjacent to it, a tennis court will feature a tent equipped with tables and chairs, ensuring ample seating for everyone. Additionally, free parking will be available in a nearby field that can accommodate up to 200 vehicles.

True to the spirit of the legendary parties of the ’70s, this event will remain completely free of charge. You’re welcome to bring your own beverages, food, cigars, or any “party favors” you prefer. Since the venue is private property, we’re not bound by typical party center regulations, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. With COVID-19 behind us, we’re anticipating a turnout that could easily double the size of 2022’s event!

Why save the date?

This promises to be the event of the decade! If you believe, as we do, that our environment shapes who we are, then you understand how fortunate we were to grow up in Cleveland Heights/University Heights during the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s. Those formative years fostered lifelong friendships, built on unique experiences and a sense of community unmatched anywhere else.

At the 2022 event, many attendees expressed their gratitude, calling it the best gathering they’d been to in decades. Here’s the secret: it’s not the hosts who make the party—it’s YOU, the attendees, who bring it to life. Now, it’s time to come together again and celebrate.

Feel free to bring your wives, girlfriends, or significant others. We’ll also be extending invitations to women who were cheerleaders, Tigers, and Heights girls’ sports teammates, along with the incredible women who joined us for high school parties back in the day.

Every attendee of the 2022 Frats & Jocks Party had an unforgettable time reconnecting with friends and teammates. This next event promises to be even better—a perfect opportunity to rekindle old bonds, reminisce about cherished memories and celebrate the incredible legacy of Heights alumni.
